Fire Station 2 - Zitnjak

Fire station 2-Zitnjak was placed in service on 08. May 1973.

It is located in east part of Zagreb in Capraska ulica b.b.
(Capraska street bb). This part of Zagreb is mainly industrial district with chemical plants and other industrial areas.

In this fire station are located:

• Zagreb fire departments hose repair center
• Zagreb fire departments fire extinguisher repair and service center
• Auto repair shop (temporally leased to Zagreb police department)

This fire station averages 450 calls per year:

• 150 fires in housing objects
• 150 fires in the open
• 100 technical emergencies in housing objects
• 100 technical emergencies in traffic

On the 01st of January 2005, there are a crew of 55 men in this fire station.
