Fire station 1-Centar is located at the Savska Str.
1 (Savska ul. 1), providing quick response and easy
access to all city districts of Zagreb. 94 operational
firefighters make this station the largest and busiest
single fire station in Croatia.
Fire station 1-Centar was opened on October 1st,
1910. with a short ceremony.
The
station contains vehicle bays, mess and office accommodation,
communication control room, main headquarters, training
centre and repair shop for the vehicles and breathing
apparatus
This
fire station averages 1400 calls per year:

500 fires in housing objects
• 250 fires in the open
• 250 technical emergencies in housing objects
• 200 technical emergencies in traffic
• 200 others calls
On
the 01st of January 2005, there is
a crew of 94 men in Central fire station.
